The highlight for me was the giant granite boulder extending through the living area up to the bedroom, giving me a true "Monsanto" experience. The breakfast provided was also excellent, and the view from the terrace for watching the sunset was breathtaking. Despite the challenging driving and parking in the village, the host was always available to assist and provide guidance. I highly recommend this villa for a memorable and authentic stay in Monsanto.

Pros of our stay at Sun Set House: Super safe parking, friendly host who helped carry our baggage to the apartment, amazing fresh juice and berries upon arrival, delicious local shots and cooked dinner, lovely and authentic apartment with all necessary amenities. Plus, the hostess gave us great advice and even drove our luggage to the car parking location. The hostess is an absolute fairy, making us feel at home and going above and beyond to make my birthday special. The cottage in the quirky town is a hidden gem, with clear instructions, a well-equipped kitchen, and an incredible breakfast spread. After our stay, we wished we could have one more day in Portugal at this amazing place!
